Overview:

​

The Community & Events Manager plays a central role in cultivating a vibrant and connected school community. This position is responsible for planning and executing key school events, strengthening family engagement, managing core communication systems, and supporting essential administrative functions.

 

This role blends event leadership, communication strategy, and operational support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relational, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating meaningful, well-executed experiences for students, families, and staff.

Duties

• Provide leadership, management, and support for the front desk team

• Plan, oversee, and manage major school events, including but not limited to: first day of school, school picture day, family bingo night, staff Christmas party, 8th grade graduation, field day etc.

• Build and lead volunteer committees and coordinate staff support for events as needed

• Lead all planning and execution of the annual Christmas Program

• Lead community & engagement programs

• Manage school apparel program

• Lead school communications (draft, coordinate, and distribute school-wide emails, manage school communications app etc.)
