Macy Gándara

5th-8th Grade Spanish Teacher

I earned my bachelor’s in Education from Western Oregon University in 2013. I taught in various settings between 2013-2021, from Elementary Physical Education in the states to Middle School Math in Medellín, Colombia. Growing up, I went through a Spanish Immersion program where I not only learned Spanish but developed a love for the language. I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on this knowledge and passion for the Spanish language to the students at Stafford Farm School. I truly enjoy teaching and love that God has given me the opportunity to teach in so many different seasons of my life.

My husband and I are blessed with an amazing growing family of three little girls. I have lots of fun going on walks, making cookies, doing puzzles, reading books, and exploring the world. Currently, you will mostly find me exploring the streets of West Linn with my little girl gang. (I am the one with the faded red double stroller.) I also love going on adventures with my husband, whether that be to Costco or Colombia. Life with my husband and our littles is a God-filled adventure that I am most thankful for; what an amazing privilege it is to raise a family. God is good.
