I am a US Army veteran and professional writer with 20+ years of experience in publishing and journalism. My work explores faith, culture, and storytelling, appearing in publications such as Willamette Week and Tucson Weekly. I have authored five books, with the most recent being The Blue Beacon, an adventure novel starring animals and set in the Pacific Northwest. Over the last two years, I have taught English at Columbia Christian Schools. I lives in Southwest Portland with my daughter, Lana.
