Unit 1 - Greetings, Goodbye & Polite Words

When instructed to do so on the weekly homework log, please review vocabulary words and watch videos with your child as part of their weekly Spanish homework.

 

By the end of this unit students should be able to:

  • Use common Spanish greetings and goodbyes

  • Use common Spanish phrases to introduce yourself

  • Know the following polite words: Gracias, Muchas Gracias, Por favor, De nada, Puedo?, Perdón.

  • Use polite forms of address: Señor, Señora, Señorita, Joven, Amigo/a

  • Know the difference between “tú” and “ usted” (you).
